Paromita Dubey is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Statistics at UC Davis from where she recently finished her Ph.D. in Statistics in June 2019. Prior to this, she received a Bachelor of Statistics and a Master of Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She was awarded the "Peter Hall Graduate Research Award" for her dissertation titled "Fréchet Analysis of Variance and Change Point Detection for Random Objects". Her research centers around developing statistical methods and related inference for metric space data, examples being distribution and network valued data.
