On May 23 and 24, 2019, the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS) will be celebrating their 20th year anniversary by hosting a conference open to everyone who wants to learn about state of the art quantitative methods in the social sciences.
The event will feature invited talks from several distinguished researchers that play a preeminent role in social science research. The participation of graduate and undergraduate students from all the departments across the campus is especially encouraged. For the students’ benefit, the conference features two short courses and a poster session. The poster session will provide an opportunity to present new research, and take advantage of the feedback and suggestions from faculty and peers. There will be prizes for the best posters.
